beccaelizabethFurther poking of timetable reveals that once again I can get to conventions without skipping any lessons... though I should be Good Student and take my reading on the train with me. Actually that's worked really well in the past, train reading is fun.
I cannot get to the Whoniverse academic conference Cardiff walking tour on the Thursday. I have lessons Thursday morning and I reckon I can go catch a train after that, and still get to Cardiff at reasonable hours. But the tour is at 1300, and I'd have to skip lessons and go up on Wednesday to manage that. Sad.
I should sort out accomodation for the Cardiff conference.
I like it when there's one option and you can phone and book. Having to sort out geography and maps and different options at different prices and... is much doings. But I've done it twice this year, for the Rift in London and for the play in Stratford Upon Avon. so I can do it again.
College teacher is going to try and take class to Hamlet in London. I, er, emailed and reminded that booking opens tomorrow. I reallyreally want to go again. And if it's for class, clearly I have good excuse.
Turns out Hamlet is one of the set texts for the Renaissance unit next semester. I hadn't noticed that before. Oddly it feels weirder being enthusiastic about a set text than about random fan impulses.
