Due to wandering around the meta end of the net, I'm thinking about the Bechdel test, and F&SF movies.

To pass, a work needs to have 1) more than one named woman, who 2) talk to each other, about 3) something other than a man.

I was trying to rate my movie collection but I can't read the titles from here and got fed up with all the standing up. Another time maybe.

So instead I'm going to ask:

What's your top ten recs for movies that *do* pass the test?

I like F&SF.
I'm not sure if F&SF has more or less of that problem than other sorts of movies.

Do the women need to talk about something other than a man ONLY throughout the movie, or can they talk about a man in another scene?

Reckon it only needs one conversation to pass.
Also reckon there's depressing numbers that don't manage that one.
