Doctor Who BFA - No Man's Land
Feb. 4th, 2009 07:43 pm7, Ace & Hex
I listened to the first 3 parts this morning, then had to stop to do today. I listened to the last part just now.
I could stop on a proper cliffhanger, even if it was one I was pretty sure I knew the resolution for, and the momentum of the story caught me up again plenty quickly.
It was a good one. Lots of moments of creepy, good use of temporal setting, good use of time travel ideas, Ace&Hex were good, the Doctor gets to make a great little speech being very Doctor-y, and the ending was at once predictable, inevitable, and good.
Now I feel like I stayed up veryvery late, even though it's not 8pm. This is what happens when I get up v early. So I might have had more to say, but mostly I'll just say it kept me awake all the way through this time.
