Feb. 7th, 2009 04:58 pmI went out and took my library book back. It turns out to be easy, like university, with the machines that have big clear instructions and give you a receipt. I like it.
Then I bought a game for the GameCube my brother gave me for xmas. I got that Matrix game, because the shop had it and it was cheap. I've been all around Norwich not finding any games for the thing at all, but Dereham has half a dozen. And a different half a dozen than the other two times. If I turn out to like computer games this will be useful.
Then I took my daft brother's xmas presents to his house. They've been sitting on the shelf at my house failing to get delivered for ridiculous time now. I also took a dragon sticker that is very shiny, to go with the dragon DVD. I don't know if he'll like it, or have anything useful to do with it. But he liked the DVD. He took the plastic off with his teeth, handed it back to me, and proceeded to ignore me to read the box. That's clear interest, right enough. :eyeroll:
I went to the small supermarket on the way home but crumpets had they not. I got bread and pasta, but I went in for crumpets. Still, plus side, I noticed they're stocking more of the things I actually buy than they were the last time I bothered going in, with actual vegetarian food and the kind of pasta I wanted and the right sauce too.
Now I am home. Having had that adventure I don't feel like playing the game yet. But if I want to, I have one now.
