beccaelizabethToday: woke up this morning, decided I didn't like that idea, woke up this afternoon, failed at use telephone, failed at leave house while most shops are open, eventually went to supermarket.
Bought food, including pancakes. Ate some pancakes. Remembered I quit buying them because they make me feel ick. Threw away rest of pancakes.
Hate wasting food, but consider this a triumph of willpower and common sense.
Also bought Spiderman 3. On arriving home found I own neither previous Spiderman, which is surprising. Thought I owned the first one. Also thought I only owned one Pirates film. Suspect DVD reshuffling occured at some point when sibling visited.
Watched Spiderman 3.
... eyeliner of eeeevil? Eeeevil cookie eating? Apparently he is too adorkable to go eeevil properly.
Also, best enemies! Win! So cute!
... well, the trying to kill each other parts probably shouldn't count as cute.
and then, so stabby.
and, 'you stabbed my boyfriend prepare to die' *kaboom*
... okay, only in my head. And he tried to save the guy. And there was all that forgiveness stuff. Which was kind of cool, but, also, shouldn't he be trying to arrest that guy?
I didn't like the bits where it kept stopping to tell you how to react and what the moral was. I feel I'd have to be very small indeed to not know these things.
I kind of did like the thing where the thing that sent the guy eeeeevil was being caught using photoshop. That's just... amusing.
I didn't like random comedy interludes of pointlessness.
I fast forwarded through most of the relationship stuff. Felt too predictable.
... I do not like randomly finding small beetles on my keyboard...
okay, verdict: for £5 it was fine. Glad I didn't buy it more expensive.
Now I'm thinking on female characters and characters of color. Bechdel fail? Think so. And we had scenes with Mary Jane so it wasn't just cause of following one guy around all the time.
Movies. Frequently kinda blah.
I will go ... I can't decide if I'll watch or listen to Doctor Who, but one of those.
I'm not saying it's automatically non blah, but there's a lot of chances.
Oh, have DVDs with Romana I haven't watched yet! Okays, that's me sorted.
