This 2/5 star film review for Terminator Salvation is not promising. But one of its objections is that Judgement Day was supposed to happen in 2004. Did that happen in the third film, which I still haven't watched? Because in the TV series the point is they keep on moving it whenever they thwart a little.
The movie review makes no mention of the TV series.

For Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was that events they did in the pilot ep of T:TSCC caused judgement day to be diverted again, and caused T:TSCC to be on a different timeline from T-3. So Salvation comes off the T-3 movie and is not at all related to T:TSCC.

Kate, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, is supposed to feature prominently in this one.

I just read a book review that mentioned Kate.

I hadn't actually heard good things about T3, and rather like TSCC, so I'm liking less the more I hear. *sigh*
