why songfic

beccaelizabethI've just now realised that songfic is what happens when a song makes a vid in your head but made of pictures that did not technically happen. Some of them are more story like than that but the ones currently in my head are all images just like songvids usually are. Only based on my 'Ripper: Fool's Journey' series that does not currently exist outside of my head, except for a bunch of pages of notes. So far that Ghost song made a vid, and David Grey 'The other side', and theres something with the three versions of Street Spirit that makes more pictures in my head.
And now I'm vaguely wondering if anyone can figure bits of the fic from the songs.
But the annoying part is that I am way way unlikely to ever get my series made as episodes and therefore cannot get clips from it to put with the music. And putting words in takes long and long. And also isnt as pretty. And also also actually writing the fic series, all 22 parts of it, should logically be taking up my word output, such as it is.
Well it keeps on getting more detailed and worky in my head. I'm pretty sure I'll actually make bits of it sooner or later. At this point I'm actually waiting to see how the Angel series turns out, so I can know if I need to just say up front mine is AU or if it fits in the gaps.
