I have figured out why I am writing on paper for my latest script plan:
because on paper doesn't count.
I have figured this out because the note taking phase is pretty much done and the actually writing phase now needs to begin.
...it's not beginning, in an ongoing sort of way.
I know I've got the first story all planned because I keep getting distracted by sequels. The one where (hot character played by someone from Torchwood) and (hot character played by someone from Highlander) get trapped in a lifepod together and spend their last remaining air arguing aboutshould they die shagging their philosophical differences and why they're on opposite sides in the rebellion and why they should have sex is becoming quite distracting. Especially since I'm sure I could write that better (two people, one conversation, some sex) than I can write my rather ambitious main plan (10 people and quite a complicated sort of world setup thing).
I can see why the scriptwriting books say 'have one main character'. I just disagree with it on philosophical grounds. Life isn't made of main characters, it's made of equals. Must write about a team.
... almost anything would be simpler than what I've got it into my head to write.
... I still want to write it.
I think I want to write it. I'm having one of those 'why write' mopey *bigsigh* things. I know why write, I just... *bigsigh*.
