Blue Beetle thoughts

beccaelizabethWays Blue Beetle might not be in as much trouble as appears:
1. Head shots are not universally fatal in the DCU. See Hawke, Connor.
2. Justice League Elite might have recruited him at the last minute. The Flash has previously swapped in 'corpses' to free up JLElite members for black ops missions. He can move fast enough to effectively bilocate and has no problem swapping people faster than can be noticed.
3. Booster is a time traveller.
4. Superman/Batman is theoretically in continuity, but currently gone majorly pear shaped with Alternate Universes. And it isn't the only title. Never-happened is happening a lot at the minute. Something freaky strange is happening, ala Zero Hour and Crisis. Since the comic was 'Countdown to Infinite Crisis' I'd guess it will be, oh, just randomly- another Crisis. Which obviously can reboot *everything*.
5. Jason Todd, and Golden Eagle. Both dead as far as the DCU has known for... how long now? Decades? And yet, alive and kicking in assorted titles near you. Dead is not forever. (Unless you are Ice).

In Highlander fandom we called this straw grasping, and successful grasping of straws led to high clan honors.
