twiddly things
Feb. 11th, 2010 03:13 pmshopping arrived, yaay, and cleaner did cleaning, yaay, and I like Thursdays, especially when they work. cleaning got a bit ahead of me and I put the tea towels in the laundry right before the cleaner actually needed to use them but in the grand scheme of things no problem.
Now I am waiting. And wondering when it's reasonable to give up on waiting and go back to bed.
If someone says 'when is a good time?' and I say 'thursday 12-2pm' and she says 'Okay, that's fine' is it reasonable to conclude that she will be visiting on thusday between the hours of 12 and 2 in the afternoon? Because I thought it was. But it is now quarter past three.
I can see how I could be a very low priority, and I can see that a job that has waited, oh, counting the initial cock up, eight months, could probably wait another week, but it would help my day some if a note to that effect was sent. Just in general.
This is the woman who has iirc never once produced paperwork or done like she said she would when she said would do it, or in some cases at all. But I can't proceed on the assumption she'll continue to not do it. Not least because then nothing would get done. *big shrug*
Eh. No worries.
I think I'll go back to bed anyway. Also take my trousers off. I've somehow scratched my knee and it really would rather not wear trousers, but I can't find a skirt that doesn't have an extra hole in it. I need to do a wardrobe clear out again. I did a fridge clear out this week and was left with some margerine and some chocolate desserts that are made of soya and can keep on a shelf for about a year so I like them quite a lot. A clothes clear out that paid attention to what actually fits and does the job I bought it for would be... eh, not quite as extensive, I have a bunch of good stuff too, but, you know, charity shop friendly.
Right. I'm bored. I'm going.
