Oh wow! Books!

beccaelizabethI just found a whole extra box of books!
It's like getting a whole extra present from Dad!
... and just as creepy!
... he's been dead ten years, you'd think there'd be no more presents.
I couldn't find my Sherlock Holmes collection, yet I knew I'd liberated a school library shelf (that they were about to throw out) and had one of each of everything. So I looked on every shelf, and in my librarything, and I couldn't find a single Doyle. So I got really *persistent* and looked under the bed (dust) and in the corner behind teh door (dust and Kant) and then in the corner behind the bed. Which I'd thought was pretty much empty except for the junk avalanche and some hats. But I dug it out and moved it into the opposite corner, and then dug me out and moved it more compactly into the opposite corner in case the fire alarm went off again, and finally found one whole moving box still packed, and it was the hardback D books! I have Delany and Doyle again! And probably some other stuff too!
... and now I have to find shelf space for them. Ah. This would be why they were still packed then.
but I have my Sherlock Holmes books back!
And they're really dusty!
And dear gods and goddesses I need to clean the back half of my bedroom.
