smoke dreams

beccaelizabethJust had another of my there is fire outside and smoke getting in and we have to get up and get decent and get out somehow dreams. Only the 'we' in question was Giles and Ethan. Ethan was awake and saw the smoke, woke up Giles, but then the dream got a bit silly, because Ethan was sort of undecided between getting out before smoke inhalation becomes a problem, and doing creatively interesting things with Giles. Okay, I can see the temptation, but in the face of fire? Giles points out they have to go before the firemen turn up and see them busy, and Ethan says 'Because that's never happened before.' The way he said it being about equal between 'you remember last time this happened' and 'hey, new thing even we havent done yet'.
Ethan, and my subconscious, very silly. But pretty.
Also there was a later bit where he was sitting around discussing theory of magic, and said something about of course you dont tell the truth, so I said 'You tell the truth you want to be' and he agreed and pointed out to everyone I said this thing. Huh.
Also also there was a conversation about how to get a spade to an allotment on the tube without being arrested as some gardener terrorist.
I did mention my subconscious is a very strange place to be.
