Catching a thought about Doctor Who

Thought on the Time War: We haven't heard much about it, but it sounds a teensy like Ragnarok. Armies of people who can't stay dead, fighting endlessly, bringing back the dead, maybe all the dead, if they've gone back to Rassilon. Monsters breaking free. Ending in fire.

Granted, that's sort of a generic end of the world thing there, but Ragnarok and Fenris stuff has old Who precedent.

Hmm, good thought! I always liked the hints they put in about the Seventh Doctor...it would be great if the new team could do more with that theme than just "Hey Rassilon's back! Ooops, now he's gone again!" And if they could do more with the Time War than just make the Doctor be angsty.

Anyhow, the whole Lonely God milarky ties in with Seven as well.
