beccaelizabethI rewatched the episode and watched the Confidential . They said the new Daleks are Supreme, Scientist, Strategist, Drone, and Eternal, and they know what 4 of them do but couldn't come up with the name for the last one and neither Gatiss nor Moffat knows what the Eternal does. Which surprised me. I told the TV, 'she's the mama'. Then I analysed my gendered assumptions and imagined my mum driving a dalek. But it's easy, Eternals are the ones responsible for making sure there always will be Daleks, making more Daleks, responsible for breeding Daleks. Daleks forever = eternals. Of course they're important. Especially given the recent running out problems.
(and of course since the writers say they don't know yet I'm by definition wrong. *shrugs*)
also someone posted another explain about the latest LJ fail with running clunky scripts. I understand little, but figured I should close the LJ windows and see if that stops Firefox eating my computer like it has been lately. So I went through all... 27 windows with up to six tabs in each (yes I know that's a perfectly reasonable way to eat computer too) and you know what? None of them were Livejournal... except me reading my old fic, me reading my f-list, an icon comm, and a recs comm. Everyone else? Is on DW already.
