Also, I'm easily distracted by Ethan. This I knew already. But it gets repeatedly proven whenever I try and read stuff. I start connecting it to Buffyverse stuff and wander off with a plot bunny.

On the up side, elements of neo-Marxism, postmodernism, and feminism (the gender as performance bit) can all add up to making a very interesting Ethan, imho.

I had a Big Thought about Chaos magic and postmodernism
(on account of Chaos magic being postmodern 'religion' and postmodernism being all about chaos/fluidity/uncertainty)
but the words went away and what is left is all blindingly obvious.

frustrating when that happens.

I *like* Cory. I mean he's a nutjob, obviously, and criminal, and seems to not understand the whole 'pain' thing. But... he just has *style*.

Plus, Richie and Mac turn up, swords drawn, and pissed off. So what does he do?

Watchers Chronicles CD also has a lot of different aliases, variations on Corwin, so the Raines part isn't even the part he keeps. But... possibilities...

so now I have this crack!fic idea where Cory is, um, Ethan's adopted father... because, Immortal, and insane, and you never know.
And really, wouldn't that just explain *so much*?

I love this episode, even though I don't so much like the acting of Alec or his wife or that random K'Immie. The thinky stuff, the Richie stuff, that makes it a great ep.

you ever get in a big panic that you maybe got the month wrong and you're supposed to be at a convention next weekend (or this weekend, if I'm really in a tizzy)?

I sat down to read more sociology. I read a big section on Disability and Mental Illness, labelling and social distribution (inequality). which is yaay, except I intended to read up on Media, for the class next week. But the book fell open and caught my eye. Is the other trouble with the Big Textbook Of Doom. Got everythings in there, must be finding somethings, takes much concentration.
