(no subject)

Today I am bored
for I am too tired to do anything that might get me un-bored.
I tried watching TV but couldn't really concentrate. I tried reading book but couldn't really concentrate. The internet has much more shiny for the short of attention span, and yet still, am left grumpy and annoyed.

This is why I can't study full time.
Which is also annoying.


I would sleep more except it didn't happen.


I did make up a bunch of soap opera type scenarios with the new characters I dreamed this morning. My favourite is the one where they have been dating for weeks without finding out what the other does for a living and then they both raid the same monster's lair at the same time. So there he is, stripped to the waist so his tattoos all show (because if you're going to borrow teh pretty, is good to use it), gun in each hand and talismans strapped to each arm so he's got like dreamcatcher looking things and feathers on. And there she is, all chainmail and a huge great sword (probably that monarch claymore sword AP was swinging about, the 5 ft long one, because gigantimous and pretty) and theres all the monsters and they all freeze for a moment seeing each other.

I have a feeling this is somehow a cliche, yet cannot currently think of a time it has happened.


Decided that made up not-Lindsey can be associated with a secret society of Native American monster hunters. He's the whitest guy in the organisation, like 1/8th cherokee or something.
I know nothing of the culture, I just wanted to borrow different kinds of magic to play with. Gets boring if everything is all about dead white guys, you know?
But then there are Issues with, whatsit, cultural appropriation or whatever.

Is 'pretty' a good reason to borrow someone?

*sigh*



I'm all tired and dopey and fed up of it.

But, have had pretty daydreams.

today I was productive
in between watching more B5 (which is interesting in the first season but is setting up mysteries I know the answers to so I keep skipping the plot to focus on throwaway lines and character moments)
I ate 2 whole meals
and rearranged stuff from the area next to where I was sleeping on the floor into the new and convenient drawer on the new bed.
nifty!
I'm not sure I found all the lube but keeping some under the sofa is apparently traditional, if slash fic is to be believed...


mostly I sleeped, or lay in bed feeling too tired to do anything but having sleeped too much to sleep more.
sulk sulk sulk.
more days with energy in, yaays.

new original fic with not-quite-Lindsey has much pretty in it though.
not that I'm likely to write it. my writing output is kind of not lately.

is a good thing I don't live with anyone, or moods like today would make them all go away. I don't even like me when I get all wore out. *sigh*
