So, I bought ReGenesis season 1 because it was super cheap.
It's a little closer to science than the SF I usually watch. And clearly it's all about impossible things (and if they look possible it's because I'm not ignoring it well enough)(biology. scary.)
So anyways, I really like it. I mean all the characters are all kinds of different and interesting and they all have stuff going on and one of them Bob Melnikov has Asperger's and is a sweetheart and saves the day a lot and is just all kinds of yaay. ( Read more... )
So, anyway, there's also lots of other characters. Much diversity. And pretty.
And it does interesting things with having a bunch of different pictures like comic book panels so people don't have to stand behind each other and you get all the reactions. And it follows one thread of the story and then kind of rewinds and follows someone else around. Is rather cool.
Plus, plots were all twisty and twisted together by the end. And you got enough clues to see it coming, yet not in a why-can't-they-see-it-too way.
Don't read the Amazon.co.uk reviews though cause there's episode by episode descriptions that are basically all the endings. Some people don't know how to review properly.
Apparently there's also more seasons of this. But not on DVD yet? Sulk.
Wiki reckons it has been shown in the UK, on SciFi. I don't got that channel.
