Owen, gender (sex) swap, nanogenes that reconstruct a body on a genetic level, restore every cell, and are medically just plain nifty... but are a one off dose, not reversible, and have the purpose of working a proper sex change.
wackiness could ensue, but there's some Stuff in there to play with too.

I'm up and awake and all those good things.
I started recording some of the contents of my recorder box onto DVD
... now the high speed dubbing seems to have stopped working.
WTF?
That would mean it'll take as long to record as to watch.
I do not have that long.
*headdesk*

So, I've already messed up two DVDs so I'm just going to let this one record and come back in two hours when it's cooked. Arrgh. But... that's just not good.

my day continues sooooo productive

High speed dubbing is back... mysteriously... so it only takes about a quarter hour per disc.
I'm recording disc 4 at the moment, Being Human and the first Sarah Connor Chronicles. I haven't watched TSCC. So I'll put them on disc first. Then the rest of Torchwood. I have up until Reset on disc already, but 2-07 and 2-08 I was waiting for the BBC2 versions. Which I now have, so I should have done them already. Blah.

Ha! All done! 10 DVDs, and I definitely have all the things on my HDD moved over to DVD.
... I think.
... I better check some.

yup, checked them all and they all both play and have on them what I think they have. win.

it's annoying. I can download everything I want to watch, in fact I do anyway because I haven't figured out how to make the files small enough to be portable myself, but I still wanted my very own box of shiny remembering.

if they find no problem again things will have to get annoying


... now I has no way of recording the family version of TW on tonight. bother. I was studying the differences.

Are there downloads specifically of the edited versions?
