Jun. 2nd, 2008 06:38 pmMy alarm clock was set for six hours ago.
... yeah, that worked soooooo well.
I couldn't think of any reason to wake up, so I didn't.
:eyeroll:
So then I had one of those being chased by absolutely everything ever sort of dreams.
with bricked up fire escapes and fire doors that wouldn't open when you hit the bar.
and also, my subconscious really needs to stop using as 'pretty guy' any and all guys I fancied when I was 15. I mean, seriously. It's just skanky now.
I'm so tired.
No fair.

Jun. 2nd, 2008 08:22 pmI'm tired, I'm cold, and when I try and go back to sleep someone phones me only they don't leave a message so they probably didn't mean to phone me. so now I'm annoyed.
On the plus side I was vaguely plotting out a sort of Torchwood mirror 'verse story when it got entirely derailed by noticing there were now two of Jack and they could touch without the universe going boom.
... I think if I want that story to have a plot, the alternate Torchwood must lack Jack. I mean, two of Gwen is survivable, cause even if she does go home to visit alternate!Rhys I'm not going to want to watch. But two of most of the others... plot go bye-bye. Oh well, I've already decided alt!Team has +Suzie +Owen +Tosh -Ianto, -Jack can fit in tidily somehow I'm sure.
Recently 'our' team, in my head, seems to have acquired a Martha and a Mickey. Presence of Martha doesn't generate extra plot bunnies, so I might find someone else instead. But Mickey Smith, back from the Cyberverse, makes a nice little story arc in my head.
I don't know if I should wait for the end of this DW season and see what gets announced for Torchwood next year, or if I should just write my version in the certain knowledge of getting Jossed. I mean, it shouldn't matter, because fanfic, but... *shrugs*

Torchwood's Season 3? We Do Know Jack
Tired of all the rumors surrounding Torchwood's future, TVGuide.com went directly to the rift, er, Cardiff, Wales, to learn if the truth was out there.
Well, 'Woodies (or Torchies, if you prefer), scripts for Season 3 are currently being developed and filming should start in the middle of August for airing on BBC1 in the spring of 2009. Best news of all, John Barrowman will return as the dashing bi-sexual adventurer. Though keeping more details close to the vest, executive producer Julie Gardner vows that fans "will be pleased with the casting." That better mean Eve Myles is returning!
Fans, however, may not be so happy with the mere five hours slated for next season. "We've decided to do a five-part mini-series, one big story that will run during one week," says Gardner, adding, "I wanted to make a really big noise about the show."
So far, the BBC has only green lit these five hours, but there could be more, we're told. When (or even whether) BBC America will run the mini-series has yet to be decided. — Ileane Rudolph

And, okay, 5 is not 13 and more could be better - but: We have a show which people watch and a channel that wants to make it and hey, look, they're making it! Yaays!
