Oct. 29th, 2008 03:40 pmI think I'm not going to be able to go to the Whoniverse academic conference.
Because of the typo, the Myth&Med exam is the Thursday I'd have to catch the train to get there for the Friday talks. If I concentrate properly on that, can I do all the packing and travel stuff? And, well, I've really not done the hotel booking, because it seemed complicated and I repeatedly gave up. Blah.
So now I'm kind of sulking... but kind of relieved. Cardiff is quite a long way to go on my own.
I still want to go. And stand on the invisible lift. And in my happier daydreams there will be Torchwood filming and I'll get chatting to someone and, er, depending on the time of day that can end with 'get a job writing for next season which will secretly be announced before its even possible' or go places JB told us to keep in our heads. Among other places.
... most of that is highly unlikely.
... as is my attendance at this academic thingy.
