I have decided I don't like amnesiac!Doctor
there's potential for interesting while he rediscovers himself, but if it isn't used that way, then it just ends up meaning the whole adventure is full of unfamiliar characters plus one familiar voice calling the wrong people Ace and drinking cocoa.
Other than that a very standard base under seige run around. Bored now.



Also today I watched Elizabeth, with Christopher Eccleston in baggy pants.
... he only has two accents. That one was not from Norfolk. But he was called Norfolk.
How to say... I realise who Elizabeth was shagging was a matter of national interest and even importance. I'm not convinced telling the story as if that were truly the central issue is so much a good thing. And I was yawny when her declaring she'd do what she decided from then on turned into her swapping one adviser for another.
I watched it cause it was on the reading list for the Renaissance unit.
It was very pretty. Except for the violent ugly bits obviously. Lots of pretty dresses and stuff.
I got bored with it and deleted it already.

I think I am currently fed up of stories.
Not in the usual sense, not just fed up of the specific stories I've been reading, nor in the sense that I want to write something better
I'm just fed up of stories.

Given that my life thus far has been devoted to, lived in, and mostly constructed from stories, this is bizarre... or entirely overdue, depending on your point of view.

But it leaves me with something of a quandry. I mean, what else is there?

For mum there's gardening and cooking and making the house pretty.
I think I'm already had enough of gardening and cooking and as soon as I get the desk sorted out my house will be quite functional enough.

So now I need to think of something that is not college, writing, reading, watching TV, watching movies, scriptwriting, listening to audio plays, listening to audio books, or... well, I haven't played RPGs lately, they might still be fun, but, technically, still stories.
Something other than everything I do all the time ever, then.
Right. Easy. Er...
