I so wish someone would do a re-edit of these so they're a bit more zippy. The story is fine, glowy skull and glowy woman and snakey slug thingies with ominous doooooom background, Meddling In Things Man Was Not Meant To Know, the usual. It's always a bit less interesting when the bad thing doesn't have a good chat at some point, but the doomed misguided accomplice did the ranting, so that works out. But the pace... I try, but I cannot slow down enough for the pace. I end up doing art projects instead of actually watching. It works out okay cause usually the music tells you when to look at the good bits. But TV, on the whole, is trying to make you watch, so, not so great.
I do like Doctor Who, but quite often I like the version in my head after a bit of distilling, you know?

I am awake.
It is four in the morning.
Why am I awake?

That bit where it's real quiet and then all the birds start singing is kind of impressive.

... nope, got no more thoughts. I go back asleep. I hope.

Doctor Who: Warrior's Gate

Romana is cool! Has adventures, saves people, and goes off to save own universe! Gets fed up of the Doctor and dumps him. Can see why. Romana gets K9 and Doctor gets Adric. Romana wins.

Story quite often didn't make even a tiny bit of sense, but hey, no worries. Had fun running around and fighting shiny skeleton warriors anyways.

Best bit: Somewhere in the middle of that my headache wore off, only having lasted about eight hours. Win! Doctor Who clearly cures everything! Or at least makes waiting around for it to get better much less boring.
