thought on Torchwood and Owen

read in someone else's fic "And Owen had got himself some antidepressants eventually, anyway."

Thought arrived in mind that if, after 1-11 to 1-13, Owen did get himself on antidepressants, and they worked, and he was coping, by 2-06 he couldn't eat or drink or take meds so suddenly he'd be dumped back into medless condition. And yeah he wouldn't need painkillers any more, but...

huh. story.

I tend to read dead!Owen as physically disabled because of the lost sensation and the hand damage and the knowing it will get worse. Adding to that seems a little like over egging.

but logically it works.
