Thieves try and steal a rhino head from Norwich Castle Museum
at lunch time
but, since it is a Castle, apparently security is quite good...

this isn't a crime I'd ever have thought of. but apparently it is happening to museums quite a lot lately, since rhino horn is now worth more than cocaine or gold. *blinks*

I have been tired, sulky, sleepy, and really quite stupids all day.
And today was mostly working in groups, so that didn't work real well.

I listened to an 8th Doctor adventure with Mary Shelley. I was not impressed. For one, it keeps being about inspirations for her book, and she was quite capable of thinking up her book without living it a bunch of times. Plus the Doctor keeps telling her she'll write great books. That's daft. And I didn't think the emotional logic always worked. Like, one minute she's all 'poor thing, its not really a monster' and the next it's like 'it will survive and it's all my fault!' At which second did she decide that was a bad thing? I may have missed it due to being on the bus. But the story felt like it lurched along all wonky.
Also the Doctor is in a very bad mood, and I keep trying to figure out his timeline to know precisely when this goes but I suspect it just goes right after the last 8th Doctor adventure so he has a pretty good reason to be in a bad mood. But still, he kept surprising me.
I will however keep listening to more of them. Because I do that.
