Shiny things

The problem with using furniture dream shopping to distract myself is that I now hate some of my furniture so much. I mean, there's stuff in here that was old when I first moved out, that may be as old as I am, and it's only made of white stuff over squished wood bits. The edges are chipped and no matter how often you clean it it refuses to look clean. I continue to own it mostly because it's full of stuff.

I like the handles, cause I painted them with nail varnish and sparkles, but, in general, blergh.

My big aspiration now is to replace my furniture with stuff I bought on purpose, because I liked it.

And that isn't broken.

And has some kind of guarantee.
