I listened to the first Big Finish Doctor Who audio, one with three Doctors. Each has their own seperate adventure, fixes the immediate problem, then gets drawn together to find they've made a great big mess between them, and has to figure out how to fix that. So only the last story is a multi Doctor story, which solves some of the usual problems of why do you really need more than one Doctor. And then it explicitly addresses the way different Doctors change the balance of their personality traits, so one will make a decision the others might not have, so it does something interesting with the three of them. Also I was sort of :-( that 5 was the most useless, but really it's logical, cause he's youngest and the others have the benefit of all his experience.
I quite liked it. It was like a set of 4 short stories so I had the usual slight disatisfaction with that, but they all worked. I miss the companions though, and the Doctor talking to himself is awkward.
If I'd started with this one I'd listen to the next one, so that works.
