I have been Grumpy about Arrow all night
because they choose the stupid
so grump.

But also

The entire first season could have been skipped if Ollie's father had communicated using actual words in whole sentences. One whole sentence, even. 'BTW, x is planning y, that's the thing I really need you to fix'.

And early on it looked like he wouldn't have had the time, but then they apparently had days in the raft? And it looked like he maybe didn't know the whole horrifying story, but no, the whole horrifying story is why the thing and the other thing anyway. So

He could have fixed the entire first season if Ollie's father had communicated using actual words in one whole sentence.



The plot on the island was also ridiculously lengthy and needlessly complex, but you know, that... I ceased caring about that really early on, do whatever.



They chew up characters for no good reason and just... ugh.


But
really.

Plot! Don't make it hang on a miscommunication for more than five minutes. Ugh!

I have new hair :-)

I have the same hair cut I had the last few times, with buzzed undercut up to the temples and chin length top layer, and no hair dye so my silver streaks are coming in nicely.

I went on my own, which is me doing quite well for this year.

On the way there I got a magazine, because I was going to be Early, but he was ready early too so that worked out. And on the way back I got Legends of Tomorrow DVDs because win.

I tried to make some photos of me but daylight is too much for the camera and house light is too little. May try again later.

Arrow season 2

Have watched the first three episodes.
*makes a sort of :-/ face but more twisty*
... not impressed.

Ugh, this show is just making me grumpy, and I've read enough spoilers to only be tense about certain characters that I would in other circumstances look forward to. *big sigh*

And yet, I bought it already and I'll end up watching the whole thing, so the makers don't really care.

This may be why we don't get nice things.
