Not only am I not impressed, I'm actually kind of angry.
There's a guy that dies first. That the Doctor hears is in danger, sees being locked in, and ignores. Someone the Doctor doesn't even try to save.

Do you ever get stuck on the feeling that if you wanted things to be better you needed to have done something different twenty odd years ago?

Because that is a shit feeling.

I have been watching too many time travel shows and reading fixits and I think at this point it's all just toxic. No reboots, no do overs, we're doing this live.

I'm still kind of stuck on how, though.

I was so wrecked by this fic, but the good way. The middle was so sad, so the end was super happy. I feel like I’ve always wanted this story but wouldn’t have understood this version when I was younger, so it really got me now.
