Today I did the dishwasher, am doing the laundry, and got Analog and Asimov's in the mail.

... it is possible I'm equally enthusiastic about these things. Like, there should be a 'new stories, yaay!' but instead there's wondering how it shall disappoint me this month. oh well, one can but try.

Today I tried to use my desktop computer, which still makes fan noises and so forth. and it turns out I just cannot make myself do so for long. Which is useful data while trying to decide what to do about my future computing needs. I maybe might only need a newer big backup drive and something quieter that can maybe play games. and for this quiet thing to actually work right, or be replaced with a smarter one. This one is just right for reading on, size wise, so I end up just reading quiet all day. I do vaguely recall computers can do more than that.

I slept about nine to five and did not achieve communication tasks. and I actually have two communication tasks to achieve. so that's a thing.

but aside from that, monday.

I put my thumb in the food
on accident, obviously, when it was falling
and it had been out of the microwave five whole minutes
but now the end is red and a bit sore
:(

also I have to hope the worktop is clean enough, because I decided to scrape the meal up into the bowl anyway.
