today i woke up, saw a neat post, and sat down to make an aesthetic 'based on your personality and interests' from pics on this computer for tumblr
now it is mid afternoon, I ate all the biscuits (all) without noticing, I accidentally deleted the thing twice, and right now I'm sitting here with 18 pictures chosen wondering what it would say about me if I included both the picture of dress uniform Picard and the thing with too little fabric to be lingerie.
... possibly I have wandered off from the original brief?
... I had two folders and one was all rainbows but my icon is usually my rainbow hat, and then I realised half the things I'd chosen were just more elaborate versions of my DW icons, but really, that's the set of pictures i chose to be mes, what else would I choose?
And if I'm choosing clothing then it's either me at Pride (maximum rainbow) or the things I don't wear much but feel have a unified look (black and red)
but then I realise my folder has no trousers except the lower half of a fireman uniform and the ones with the roses I saved cause they're super expensive designer and awful
and a whole lot of LARP ones that... well they're interesting shapes, but assuming you want them below the knee and without a codpiece, still not really The Look, you know?
I know my best trousers are on the other computer but if I'm getting another computer out that is too much effort.
... yes I have spent hours going through the couple thousand pics on this...
And I wasn't going to use any of the pics with people in but then I realised once again that when I go looking for top and trouser combinations I'm kind of aiming at Starfleet formal and I thought sod it.
But I am not Picard. Like, least Picard. Really.
It's easy putting in Eilean Donan castle and Richie's gothic bastard sword and the Seal of Rassilon in pendant form. But after that gets tricky.
*looks at now couple dozen things*

I pick out a matching sort of pretty, then it ceases to say much about me. Maybe just add back in all rainbows...
