Night gaunts between tick and tock

So that dream was interesting. Well, terror with a side of nausea, but now I'm awake and thinking, interesting.

There was complex that was mostly for mixed use, but had a set of exit doors led to some facilities for those of us who are magic. ( Read more... )

And that's when I woke up, all adrenalin with just a memory of nausea.

But I think I can figure this.

Today basically worked. Three meals and a snack, cleaner day tasks successful except the vacuum cleaner because laundry on floor, two loads of laundry washed and dried, and two dishwasher loads done. That's your basic successful day, that is.

Also several phone calls, including a couple from mum trying to make a plan for Friday, but I eventually managed to explain that the problem with books all over my front room is it isn't hardly fair to set my brother up in a situation where he's definitely going to annoy me. I mean, it is quite reasonable to want to pick up books and see what they're about, it's just he doesnt tend to remember if he's holding a pen. So we shall postpone the plan until the new bookshelves arrive and I once again have everything properly shelved. Because it was a good plan aside from that.

I also read a couple long things on the internet, but they mostly said things I already knew, with more detail and timelines and references. So that wasn't as interesting as I was hoping. But still, reading.

I'm stalling on reading science fiction magazines because they never keep my attention long and then an issue can last all month but not in a good way. But it's not like they suck, just my attention is hard to get.

My new stripy pyjamas are a great success, except I dont want to get dressed in the morning because stripey.

But now I get to go sleep.
