Nov. 7th, 2019 08:42 amDoom Coalition ended as well as I'd hoped. Wrapped up the loose ends, including ones I'd stopped wondering about, but it was very neat. The Sonomancer has a great story arc.
... Time Lord names are nifty. When the Doctor asked someone her name after he'd figured her for a time lord, she said she hadn't chosen a name yet. like, 'isn't that how it works, we go out into the universe and decide who to be? maybe I'll be a doctor'. And that was plausible to him. so it's interesting.
I thought the Doctor and River made a great compare contrast to the Sonomancer and her bloke.
I listened to that a bunch of hours ago and since then I've been playing Sims cause I didnt think of anything else to do.
... actually playing Sims is boring. i dont nitice when i am playing because buttons need clicked, but it's boring. i spend all my time saving up for traits so they can ignore all their carefully simulated life functions, which isnt very clever of me really, but it otherwise means spending so much of their time on basic life functions and keeping their social need filled and doing things that are fun but not the things you want them to do. the basic life simulation side. boring.
the logical conclusion is, if I spend all the time in sims trying to turn off what makes it sims, I should play a different game.
surprisingly enough.
but Sims doesnt make me motion sick, and minecraft does, and... many many other games. so it's no fun going looking really.
I think I want to play Pathfinder with actual humans.
... realistically I should just find computer games that are like pathfinder but for one player.
... oh well.
I'm hoping to get some sleep before dancing tonight or else i'll have to just do the shopping half because bump. i've been awake since like 2230 yesterday so staying awake until almost same isnt going to work.
... i am also bored of how my actual non simulated life spends so much time on the basics, but if there's a way to buy those off i have not found the menu.
