This was a competent tale, with adventure and excitement, devils and cannibals and witches, and both swords and sorcery. Well, probably Wizardry and Witchcraft, but the art thing Declan Avari can do isn't one I remember from the rulebooks, so I don't know for sure.

Pretty good story pretty well told.
Focuses on just two characters and a familiar, so it doesn't feel like a gaming party but does fit in a book.
Lots of interesting bits.
And I'd like to buy more a bit like it, so that works.
My copy was sort of browned on the inside cover and with streaks on some pages?
Apparently it's a book thqt has been out for ten years. Maybe my new book is also a ten year old book?
... possibly a reason to buy ebooks in future...
