My day has not been fascinating
Mar. 19th, 2020 10:34 amI ate soup
because I finally cleared enough space at my table by putting most of the rpg books back on the shelves.
my first choice of soup turned out to have a use by in january
but there was a second can of it that had a year left
... so now I wonder how long I owned that first soup.
I sat down to read more Pathfinder Adventure Path but they keep describing these gigantic hoards of treasure
and I just distracted myself wondering how anyone ever gets it home.
It's bigger than Handy Haversacks. You'd need multiple of the biggest types of Bags of Holding, assuming it'll go inside properly. Portable Holes got nothing on this treasure pile. Treasure Stitching seems like a good trick, though it costs a lot in material components. Floating Discs are actually pretty good, though I don't know if you can cast a bunch of them at once, I still dont quite understand the magic rules for Pathfinder.
One of the forum suggestions was to just summon a bazillion horses
or of course buy them and have jirelings to manage the baggage train.
Practical, but you wonder how they'll all manage in the middle of giant country or somesuch.
... maybe this is what Followers are good for, wearing a lot of treasure each...
The amount of treasure in a pile is already ridiculous and they're only 13th level.
Since they're hunting a Runelord of Greed and have been reading about his shiny shiny city I confidently expect levels of treasure that can drive entire economies.
I, personally, only aspire to magic items ( Read more... )
