but the cumulative choices just tipped character's alignment to chaotic good
which was the goal, free your mind and enjoy grand cosmic powers,
but everything that has happened since then has been like
woah, too free, bad idea, where are the brakes on this story, oh dear there aren't any.
... which is what happens when I liked the chaotic good Azata storyline best, but, also, ( Read more... ) So I backed into this questline from an angle that no longer fits, and having played it once I know there's a chance to change tack, but, sooner would be better.
Also I got stuck trying to find a remotely acceptable set of options on a companion quest and there just aren't any. Because ( Read more... )
Am having fun playing but do keep running into stuff that makes me want to write it different.
Or write it up in detail, because Blackwater plus Ianto Jones equals Drama.
Did manage to get through Blackwater, after trying it once and running away until I'd levelled up twice. It was still hugely difficult and I had to go rest outside twice before clearing it but I think if I understood the rules better it would be easier.
... playing it on the computer means you need GM level knowledge of every character class, or to just pick one or two tricks for each of your dozen or so companions and hope like heck they'll work.
Playing one character at a time has such a smaller rule set to learn.
Don't much like what they've done with mythic powers etc, and the skills list is different, and the spell list is far too limited to progress right, but, it's playable and I like playing it.
So that's a nice day.
