The thing with severe weather warnings in summer seems to be you can check the night before, check in the morning, check at lunch time, and still the first warning you get is CRACKBOOM*FLASH* and the whole ongoing waterfall situation in the hallway. And then something will come up saying 'Flash warning: torrential rain'.

My computer is in the shop and I don't know what they do about lightnings.
Already today they phoned me to say they can't find two of the problems I sent it back in for. Also they told me something about how they're going to find the files that were not there any more but I didn't understand it so I am pretty much down to saying 'Files are good. I like files.' I have a backup but it says INCOMPLETE in the folder name and I don't know what is missing, nor did exactly at the time. The computer shop guy says it might all be temp files, in which case he's doing a lot of work for nothing. But I still don't know why my stuff disappeared anyways. I was assured my stuff would remain. So I wish him to do the necessary work.



I should go sleep, but there's thunder and lightning and the air is weird.


On the plus side all the stuff that was in the freezer when it made puddle is no longer in the freezer. Cleaner has been and gone. Win.

Yeah, even here in the middle of a continent we get sudden weather. I imagine downpours can be very sudden for an island chain like yours.
