What I'll be studying next year
Aug. 27th, 2010 01:33 amI found where I wrote down what we decided I was going to study next year.
Semester 1:
Satire, 10 credits level 2
Revolution and Reaction, 20 credits level 3
Semester 2:
The Novel, 10 credits level 2
Textual Transformations, 10 credits level 3
so I'll be doing 50 credits this year
I don't think I'm eligible for funding this year, I can't figure it out again. Then I'll have to pay for it all. Or something.
I also can't remember why we decided all that was a good idea.
I know I have to do R&R this semester because it won't exist at that level later, and they've changed the course so it's the only way to get enough level 3 credits, but I don't remember why we picked the others.
Eh, I'll find out while I'm doing.
I'm hoping I'll only be doing 2 days a week again but I don't think I get a timetable until I enrol. Also if it's 3 days I'm going to try it anyway and see how bad I crash. Will be useful data.
I'm sort of not invested in getting this degree, which after... I've lost count, 8 years? Something like that... After a whole bunch of years invested it's a bit depressing how much I don't care.
But I want to do interesting things with my brain, so hopefully will get to do that.
College semester first week of lessons September 13th.
It always creeps up on me. It's so far away until my birthday, and then it's right there jumping out at me.
