Movie and shopping

Went to see Salt. Was not impressed. Angelina Jolie and Chiwetel Ejiofor are definitely of the good, but the plot was not. Aside from the sleeper agent thing being a paranoid's dream and not how people actually work, the writer didn't leave any room for it to be anybody else who was the traitor, but didn't make it tense or personal enough that the audience could be on edge watching him at the center of power trying to get her. It left me with the feeling everyone was being vaguely stupid, yet that was only because the people in the movie were not watching the movie. It was totally reasonable for the people in the movie to trust the guy, but the people watching the movie had no other person to be suspicious of and confirmation there was a mole and it wasn't the title character, therefore it had to be him. The only way the screenwriter could think this would work is if he thinks the audience is vaguely stupid and not actually paying attention. While constantly reminding them there's a mole to pay attention to. It just didn't work. Usually I like it when women run around with guns and blow things up a lot, but I was bored and grumpy by the end of this one.

Then we went shopping at Tesco. Their coats are unimpressive. Also mostly size 10. Humans are not mostly size 10. I got a long dress for slobbing around and answering the door in, and some very soft pyjama trousers, and some trousers that might possibly fit and were on discount. I spend a lot more time shopping for clothes than actually buying stuff, so I decided to just buy stuff and hope.

Tomorrow my fridge freezer will arrive and I can go buy a whole ton of freezer food to put in it on Sunday. Win!
