Bollywood sparkle dancing again
Feb. 10th, 2011 09:06 pmWe learned a new dance :-)
I got boiled and stripped. Well, took my leggings off so I only had my dress left.
... I have not had occasion to notice for some years, but my legs is sort of wolfy.
We learned a dance that is for showing on stages and involves dancing your way onto the stage. In two lines. That end up staggered so you can see everyone.
... I do not think I will be doing dancing in front of people any time soon.
... well, at conventions, but that's different, is not on stage.
I like learning new, makes for sense of achievement.
I have discovered my learning dances is mostly about learning which bits my bits won't do and working around them. Like if my ankles won't do as much twist and bounce as required, just leave my feets where they are and bounce other parts.
We also learned a move that felt all kinds of awkward and I'm sure looks ridiculous where you sort of lean back and spin in a circle while making your hands do the crazy brain circles, only further forward. All the parts seem quite weird. Then I realised, 'invisible seal ball!' and it all made sense.
... teacher liked the name. Is keeping it.
... it's like you're spinning a big beach ball on your nose. I still think it looks silly.
I like dancing. I even like dancing at the end of the day after doing studying and library. Win.
... most of my bending parts like slightly less dancing. If I keep doing this every week maybe they'll get used to it...
