Doctor Who 6-05 The Rebel Flesh

beccaelizabethThat was okay. I guess. First half of a two parter. Had some nice moments. But the Rory moment I kept waiting for kept not happening, which left me feeling vaguely like lunch hasn't arrived.
Also, my subtitles were turned off, and the stupid box won't turn them on again without stopping the recording, so I missed words, which is not how I choose to watch first time and makes me grumpy about it.
And just now I realised if I'd watched on a TV channel instead of through the recorder box then I could turn the subs on all I like with the other set of buttons, so now I get to feel grumpy and stupid.
My opinion therefore is colored mostly by extratextual factors.

I should probably just go eat dinner. Also lunch. *sigh*
