I wrote 3 rhyming couplets in iambic pentameter, thus doubling the lines Romeo's mother gets in the actual play.
I also rewrote the ramble I wrote for the nurse. It fits less well than the other two, involves ignoring her actual mentioned in the play husband to go make a point instead, but it's supposed to be a transformation, so I can do that.

They're all bad of course, but they're also less than 400 words so I can spend the other 1100 explaining what I was trying to do and using big theory words.

I bet I'll manage another complete rewrite before monday.
... I'm going to have to be awake and at college all neat and tidy on monday. This will require some revising to my sleep schedule. Between here and 0600 monday morning. oh dear.
on the plus side I have a very good hat to wear, and possibly a selection of nice jackets.
being presentable will totally help with the standing up in front of people reading my own bad poetry parts.

that's actually too easy compared to some of the transformed texts we've been studying, that's what they all seem to do with Mercutio, and it doesn't give me much theory stuff to work with. If I stick with the feminism I can chew the theory over real easy.
