beccaelizabethI dreamed I was trapped in the main door / airlock at the Forum in Norwich while sabotage blew out the dome and the Forum glass so people were dying outside, running to the nearest shelter, and finding it broken so they died inside too. Airless death all around me, and me trapped inside two glass doors.
Dear subconscious: I know it looks futuristic, but we are not in fact a domed colony on another world, and there is nothing anyone can break to abruptly turn the air off, or suck it out, or anything.
... yet this is not the first time I've had this panic.
It's like how leaving the DVDs that have the starship noises on their menus on repeat helps me get to sleep.
Some part of my back brain thinks we're not on a planet.
