Wow, I made it before deadline

beccaelizabethTechnically, if I could get my essays to college right now, I would have finished my essays a day early.
In practice this gives me tomorrow to get to college, realise I have no CDs left (actually I have a stack sitting on the DVD shelf but if they're still on the DVD shelf tomorrow I can buy more at the library), discover the library computers aren't working, or the entire college network is down, or the printer is borked, run around like a headless chicken looking for somewhere to print things out, get it all printed, triple check the checklist, make sure the right labels go with the right essay cause I haven't had to hand in two at once before and I can see some simple yet catastrophic failure modes right there, put it all in neat little plastic bits and hand it in at the office. Then give the library books back. Then go up to the UEA and give the other library books back. Then pay the library fines and find out why my UEA logon doesn't want to let me in any more.
... yeah, I'll wake up early again tomorrow, a whole Friday seems about right for all that all.
We have been promised online hand ins from September. For several years in a row now. It would simple things up, but as the teacher points out it would also make it impossible to 'discover' that things were handed in on time after all. Plus hand in would be 1200 on the day, not 1730-plus-begging.
ANYway
to celebrate, I have changed my mind about the dancing. and my employee still has no other plans. win!
... I can very nearly almost manage to do the dancing lessons on my own, but the getting home parts would require a taxi, cause I been told the bus station is not a place to be at night and 2030 probably counts.
Eh, I'm contributing to employment. Call it a win.
