Minor Torchwood complain

beccaelizabethGot very bored. Started watching Torchwood. Ten minutes in to the first episode now.
... why does Gwen look weird?

quite it with the blinky shit
just cut between pictures, don't make them all wiggly wobbly. who even has tech that still does that? squiggly lines? I've never seen that on an actual TV. All that jumpy fuzzy wiggly shit, it just makes it massively annoying to look at as well as to hear.
honestly, if you think the viewer at home is going to be fooled by your fake news, that's just kind of depressing. But even so, there's ways of making it obviously fake that are simpler and cheaper. why waste time playing with this?

ETA: We're ten minutes in and they're just recapping everything they told us in the first ten minutes. Did the US just come back from commercials?
