Illusion

I dreamed someone challenged me to a duel, so I got to pick the weapons and picked magic. They were all smug and thought they could choke me with their magic snake. (*facepalm*) They hadn't picked an end point yet so I asked if it would be to the death, which took them aback a bit, then I teased them into saying they'll make me beg for death, and picked that as the end. Then I made the lights go out except for flashy disco lighting, started the music, and danced. Eventually the magic made them dance too, and they were doing everything I was doing, and then we started singing (well, more like chanting, it was Faithless), until I twisted the words and we yelled out 'Kill me'. Thus both losing. Which is the only way things go in a dueling society.

In the dream everyone was annoyed at me for dropping the princess on her head. I was a bit wondering what she was doing hanging off the side of a building in her wedding dress in the first place, but that was just me. Turns out it was the dress but not the princess, and someone had kidnapped her while everyone was watching the drama. Someone better at illusion than me, it took me ages to figure because it's just such a visceral horror to have someone slide out of your hand and go crunch.

I was studying illusion because that's studying everything. All illusion all everywhere. Maya. Understand that, understand big time.
