I sleeped. I woke up for an hour to let the cleaner in and out. I sleeped again.
Then I woke up still with an earache. How is it when I have an earache I end up mashed onto that ear? I don't recall leaning my whole weight on my ear when it doesn't hurt. *sulks*
I dreamed lots of running around and being a superhero by way of knowing about ICU delirium and its link to sensory deprivation. They had the superhero in a very high tech tank thingy that was great for the staying alive but very much like a sensory deprivation chamber. I saved the day by fixing it with a run through a new age gift shop. Because a nice little CD of trance music and some smelly candles can totally save the superheroic mind. (In reality the ICU thing is rather more complex, but I quite like dreams where the solution does not involve kicking arse.)
... there was also a bit where I needed a superhero costume and ended up dressed all in shiny silver cloth. With a whip. And then Tony Stark turned up.
... but the internet does not really need to know the details.
It's weird dreaming Marvel superheros. I don't know much if anything about them outside of the movies.
I am definitely Not Thinking about the DCnU. Every single thing I hear about it makes a wailing and a gnashing of teeth. They're messing with everyone. Everyone! I thought comics were pretty pre messed, but no, it gets worse.
Today I must read at least another hundred pages of Victorian novel. Hopefully more.
... I must promise myself cake and proper stories once I have achieved this, or I won't get started.
