sleep doesn't like me today

beccaelizabethso then I slept 14 hours or so, frequently interrupted by phones, both mine and people outside the window, cars, both reversing beeps and some idiot leaning on the horn, and something that sounded like someone knocking on the window but I hope wasn't because its not a ground floor window.
Also I dreamed, mostly about domestic violence.
Since waking up I have been designing what I would do on Atlantis, building a Sanctuary, maybe running a radio show. With a blog to discuss the topics brought up while preaching or blathering on air. It could be very pretty, with all that glowy stained glass they have around, or a good view of the city.
I'd be a terrible chaplain, but given the one way trip nature of early Atlantis, I might be the only one there, and then I'd be the best available. I think that's scarier than the Wraith. I should stick to radio shows and journalism.
The category 'things difficult to explain to aliens' is really, really broad. And includes most of what I do all day. Stories rather depend on knowing lots of other stories for their resonances.
