went to college and didn't get run over
Oct. 21st, 2011 04:17 pmbig win!
I have been awake at least 23 and 1/4 hours now, and I have this weird dreamy feeling like I might not be sitting here but might in fact already be snoring.
I participated in lessons today. I get more sweary when I'm more sleepy. Also the words don't stay still and I forget I'm not supposed to use the specially provided uppy downy chair to do spinning. But I said at least one correct thing and contributed to working in groups (badly).
On the way out of lessons teach said something about we should be thinking of our dissertation topics but we can't use anything that has been a main text in lessons. I had a worry and asked if that meant, having studied the whole of Doctor Who in that level 1 unit, I couldn't write about Doctor Who. But no, is okay, Doctor Who is big, I can pick a different bit of Doctor Who. *phew*
On the bus on the way home I daydreamed a long conversation with certain Doctor Who writers about how my plot bunny is secretly the perfect thing and also what they could possibly see their way to fixing ie minorities stuff. I had planned to listen to a Doctor Who adventure but the pretend writering was more interesting than the story would be with this amount of brain to spend on it.
There are probably more productive ways to spend a day.
But today was achieved. And next week is half term, so I can do whatever I like for a week, yaays.

Date: 2011-10-21 06:18 pm (UTC)Incidentally, there was a reference to comics/graphic novels/whatever in the Big Issue this week, a vigilante in New York has taken to dressing up in a rubber costume and trying to attack criminals. People are starting to call him the Daft Knight. Snerk.
Ruth (PS wish I had plot bunnies at the moment)
