"Most people in UK enjoy an extra hour in bed"
correction, most people who are not insomniacs. People who are insomniacs just realise they didn't make it to 0500 even.
I can't remember much of what I was dreaming (it involved trying to find a bathroom and my hotel suite turning out to be shared by strangers, and possibly cheating on David Tennant but that's just implausible), but I woke up with a sudden urge to do Maths A Level. Or redo, technically. I got an ungraded. We do not speak of it. But it has been bugging me ever since, what I'd get if I didn't have a temperature of 104 and did manage to turn up to lessons on a regular basis. Is it in fact that I'm bad at maths, or is it like everything else from that time, screwed by outside forces? I suspect the latter. In a really rusty at it way.
What this has to do with hotels I don't know. ... what this has to do with my recent reading habits I can figure out: there's only so many times you can read someone being wildly turned on by mathematical ability before it starts looking worth a try.

Date: 2011-10-30 10:31 am (UTC)Amazingly, for all the shift work I sleep pretty well when I actually get to bed (I only go when I'm tired and not when I think I should) even though it seems to be less sleep than most other people want/need. I get classed as an insomniac by other people but I don't think I am, I just don't have a body clock that switches off before 1am (except when I'm ill) and I only need 6 hours sleep but will sometimes wake after 5 feeling fine (again except when I'm ill).

Date: 2011-10-30 11:17 am (UTC)People have different sleep needs. Is interesting. Except mine seem to either be 4 hours asleep with 10 awake, which does not fit with a 24 hour planet, or 10 sleep and 16 awake, likewise. Or some random numbers whenever I think I have a pattern. :eyeroll:
