So, 1130 to 1600 out of the house, in order to study between 1300 and 1430. 3 hours travel to 1.5 hours study. The cost benefit ratio is not acceptable.
Headache. Nausea. Tired.
Bugger all this.

This morning's post was all melodrama. :-p to it.

In lessons today I learned no new things. No, wait, I learned the light fittings at college are full of dead wasp, that's new learning. And there's a picture of two buildings that is the same as a picture of two other buildings many pages previously, which proves that Jimmy Corrigan is all about how the past influences the present, which I thought was obvious from the actual story, such as it is. And we learned that the stupid thing doesn't bother signposting 'reality', fantasy sequences, flashbacks and dreams and all the rest, which, duh. So the bit where Superman commits suicide may not have been real. Within the story. At all.

Who has a fantasy about Superman suicide?

And there was much talk of suicide including someone going on about how it doesn't make sense, why would they bother cleaning out their desk and leaving a note, and I'm sitting there thinking, they've never really thought about suicide, learned anything about it, learned the signs, anything. They're just mouthing off about how the story doesn't make sense when really it's pretty much humans who are the non-sense in this.

I wish I could just opt out of all lessons involving suicide, but that would be really a lot of lessons.

Lessons are pointless even if you accept our area of study is valuable. We repeat the same garbage, all of which was included in the handouts three weeks ago, and then the teacher leaves us to work in groups and everyone buggers off. Reading for an hour and a half would be more productive. Also it would not give me a headache.

I need new stuff in my life.
